Tell them Trump is working with Republicans in Congress to pass a massive tax that overwhelmingly benefits the ultra wealthy and corporations. To offset that he wants to cut Medicaid, a lifeline to almost a million New Mexicans. Trump's tariffs are raising prices for all of us.

​JOIN THE CARD CAMPAIGN

A grassroots group called Card Campaign offers a series of cards in a variety of sizes and formats that you can print and distribute however you like. They even include guides for introverts, extroverts and everyone in between so you can do this and stay in your comfort zone!

Since day one, Donald Trump and his allies have launched a coordinated assault on our public lands — from slashing budgets for the National Park Service to gutting protections for sacred and historic sites, Trump has decided to put polluters over people. Here's what Rep. HEAD START GETS THE AX
The Trump administration is asking Congress to eliminate funding for Head Start, a move that would cut early education for more than half a million of the nation’s neediest children and child care for their families. (AP)

SERVICES FOR VETERANS
Our veterans protected us--we have to honor the promise we made to them.
​VA staff have been fired en masse. Vets are experiencing long wait times, loss of medical benefits. The Trump administration even wants to defund their funerals!

OUR ABILITY TO FEED OUR FAMILIES
An honest day’s work should enable you to put food on the table and a roof over your family’s head. Rep. Gabe Vasquez says  proposed cuts could slash food assistance for families across New Mexico in order to pay for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy.  This is about food on the table for children, working parents, seniors, and people living with disabilities. Right now, 1 in 4 households in our district depend on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). That’s over 67,000 households that rely on SNAP to feed their families.
