  • Federal Extreme Risk Protection Order Act of 2021 HR 2377  This bill allows a person to seek a court order to prevent a family member who might pose a danger to themselves or others from purchasing or receiving a gun.
  •  Protecting Our Kids Act - HR 7910 This bill makes various changes to federal firearms laws, including establishing new criminal offenses and expanding the types of weapons and devices subject to regulation. 
  • Enhanced Background Checks Act - a bill requiring federal firearms licensees to wait 10 days for a background check before transferring firearms to an unlicensed person.  HR 1446
  • Bipartisan Background Checks Act - a bill establishing new background checks for firearms transfers between private parties. HR 8

  • Affordable Insulin Now Act  HR 6833  The bill caps cost-sharing under private health insurance for a month's supply of selected insulin products.
  • Assuring Lasting Smiles Act HR 1916 This bill requires private health insurance plans to cover diagnosis and treatment of congenital anomalies and birth defects, such as reconstructive services. 
  •  A bill which protects Medicare from automatic, across-the-board spending reductions.  HR 1868
  • Medical Marijuana Research Act HR 5657 This bill establishes a new, separate registration process to facilitate medical marijuana research.
  • Marijuana Reinvestment Opportunity and Expungement Act  HR  3617 This bill decriminalizes marijuana.  Specifically, it removes marijuana from the list of scheduled substances under the Controlled Substances Act and eliminates criminal penalties for an individual who manufactures, distributes, or possesses marijuana.
  • The Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2021 expanding CDC and public health department capabilities. HR 550 
  • Protecting Medicare and American Sequester Cuts Act – establishing grants and requiring other activities to improve mental health and behavioral health among healthcare providers and farmers. S 610
