Project 2025 is a takeover that threatens our rights and freedoms, hurts the middle class, in order to help Trump and the wealthy, and it is dangerous.The conservative "think tank" Heritage Foundation wrote Project 2025. View a searchable version here.

Under Project 2025 the government will:

• repeal FDA approval for abortion medication (p. 458) 
• permit hospitals to deny life-saving abortions (p.474) 
• allow a “Department of LIfe” (the old Department of Health) to track women’s pregnancies (p. 489) 
• dismantle sex education (p. 477) 
• redefine the “morning after pill” as abortion (p. 485) 
• replace birth control programs with “fertility awareness,” (pp. 455, 484-485) and
• divert childcare funding into programs that push women to stay at home (pp. 486, 587)

• rescind “regulations prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, transgender status, and sex characteristics” (p. 584)
• end parents or physicians’ ability to ‘reassign’ the sex of a minor, calling it child abuse. (p. 5)​
