An honest day’s work should enable you to put food on the table and a roof over your family’s head. Rep. Gabe Vasquez says  proposed cuts could slash food assistance for families across New Mexico in order to pay for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy.  This is about food on the table for children, working parents, seniors, and people living with disabilities. Right now, 1 in 4 households in our district depend on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). That’s over 67,000 households that rely on SNAP to feed their families.
