WE'D REALLY LIKE TO KNOW
1. Does Yvette Herrell believe Dreamers should have a path to citizenship?
Here's what we already know.

Here's what we already know.
Here's what we already know.
- Herrell co-sponsored H.J. Res. 50, that asserted just this. After a racist who believed he was responding to a Hispanic “invasion” of Texas shot 45 customers at a WalMart in El Paso, killing 23, Yvette still used her position in Congress to amplify the theory. She met with an anti-immigrant hate group, the Center for Immigration Studies.
- In an interview with Kevin Roberts, now the president of the Heritage Foundation, she claimed that if we don’t get a handle on the southern border “we will dilute the American way so much.”
- She enthusiastically supported Trump’s choice of J.D. Vance for vice-president even though Vance has promoted the white nationalist “great replacement” conspiracy theory.
3. What is Yvette Herrell’s relationship with the Heritage Foundation, whose Project 2025 lays out a blueprint to take over our government, hurt the middle class, and give the president dictatorial power?
Here's what we already know.
Here's what we already know.
- The Heritage Foundation’s legislative arm lauded Yvette’s votes against the Inflation Reduction Act, the Assault Weapons Ban, and the Infrastructure Bill, awarding her a perfect score (100%) for her term in Congress. See her votes here. And don't be taken in by their commentary.
- In a July, 2021 with Kevin Roberts, now President of the Heritage Foundation, Roberts called Yvette Herrell “a superstar.” Listen here.
4. Does Yvette Herrell support Project 2025* and its proposals for mass deportation and detention camps?

5. Does Yvette Herrell believe in ANY firearms regulation?
Here's what we already know.
The NRA and the Gun Owners of America have endorsed Yvette. The GOA, founded by a leader in the far-right militia movement, calls itself the only “no-compromise” gun group in America because it opposes any and all oversight of guns.

6. Given Yvette’s statements of support for law enforcement, would she comment on the killing of 17-year old Mescalero Apache tribe member, Elijah Hadley by an Otero County Sheriff’s deputy in June 2024?
Here's what we already know.
Here's what we already know.
- There is graphic video of this killing. Hadley threw a BB gun to the ground to show he was unarmed but nevertheless was shot over a dozen times after he lay wounded on the ground.
- Otero County Sheriff, David Black, has not spoken about the shooting or fired the deputy involved and a growing chorus of community members are demanding justice.
