David Mooney knows that policy decisions have real-life consequences, which is why he takes a practical, solutions-focused approach to support families, workers, and small businesses. He believes that the economy of House District 38 should work for the people who live and work here—not for out-of-state corporations. He is committed to keeping jobs local and investing in our communities. Focused on results over politics, David will work across the aisle to deliver common-sense solutions that move our community forward.
In line with his commitment to community over corporations, David seeks to improve access to healthcare; fight for greater transparency in lobbying; protect New Mexico’s water, land, and air; and create a state-wide moratorium on new data centers for at least 18 months.
His legislative goals will help lower the cost of living for working families, protect rural healthcare facilities from closure, and invest in public schools to ensure that every child in District 38 has a world-class education.
