When you elect someone, you want to know: what are they going to focus on?

Trump is not focused on what you’re paying for healthcare (or groceries or whether your kids go to better schools). He’s focused on sending masked unaccountable agents to terrorize communities.

Trump and Republicans could have narrowed the gap between the rich and poor, made childcare more affordable, improved housing options, and created a program for paid family and medical leave. Instead, they gave ICE more money than most militaries in the world receive each year.

That’s where your tax dollars are going.

Spending billions for

a botched war or

helping our veterans

The Trump administration is spending over a billion dollars a day on unnecessary wars. Meanwhile, the people who have served our country honorably are being ignored.

Some 68,000 New Mexico veterans over the age of 65 rely on VA health care, but Trump’s VA cut tens of thousands of jobs in 2025. That means fewer health professionals to serve our veterans—including the mental health providers who help our veterans readjust to civilian life.

The VA also just reduced the reimbursement rate for home health aides in New Mexico, jeopardizing veterans’ ability to get proper in-home care.

And more than 10,000 veterans have lost their homes since the VA ended a program that helped them avoid foreclosures.

For all their talk about supporting our troops, it’s clear that the Trump administration is more willing to put service members in harm’s way than to help them after their military separation.
