Blue CD2 New Mexico is a group of volunteers who are working to keep Gabe Vasquez in Congress. We're also supporting Karla Laurie, who's running for Valencia County Commissioner District 3. She'll make life better for New Mexicans.
Karla Laurie

Karla Laurie believes that before we're Republicans, Democrats, or Independents, we're neighbors. We shop at the same stores, cheer for the same kids, support the same businesses, and want the same thing: a stronger Valencia County.
As a former first responder herself, Karla understands the importance of providing the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department, and emergency services with the resources they need. She also plans to prioritize safety and accountability in every dollar spent on roads and other county infrastructure.
Strong stewardship of our water and land is something all Valencia County residents agree on. Karla will work to protect our water, respect our land, and support smart growth that preserves our rural way of life. Smart growth includes economic growth that works for everyone. She’ll seek County Commission actions to support local businesses, create better-paying jobs, and expand opportunities beyond Los Lunas and Belen.
Karla knows that Valencia County residents deserve better communication and transparency from their elected representatives, so she’ll keep you informed and involved every step of the way.

A resident of Valencia County for more than 35 years, Karla Laurie’s roots are firmly planted in New Mexico soil, and she’s ready to go to work for local families, veterans, domestic violence survivors, and our most vulnerable citizens. See how she shows up for Valencia County residents on her Facebook page.
