Blue CD2 New Mexico is a group of volunteers who are working to keep Gabe Vasquez in Congress. We're also supporting Lori Martinez, who's running for NM House District 37. She'll make life better for New Mexicans.

As a New Mexican, a working mom, a social worker, and an advocate, Lori Martinez knows that it takes all of us to build the kind of community our families deserve. She is ready to continue doing her part as the state Representative for House District 37.
Lori will fight for policies that put working families’ needs first, such as:

Education and Youth Engagement: We need dignified wages for early childhood educators. Our youth need paid internships, hands-on education opportunities, and access to career exploration, affordable higher education, and career pathways.

Affordability and Quality of Life: Access to high-quality child care is vital to New Mexico families, along with affordable housing. The state should promote family-friendly policies such as paid family medical leave and affordable health care and insurance coverage. We must protect access to reproductive health services. And families as well as small businesses deserve tax fairness.

Community Safety and Human Rights: Access to mental health and community intervention programs protects our community as well as those directly affected. We also need to protect due process for everyone and ensure human rights.

Environmental stewardship: Lori will work to preserve our public lands and access to outdoor recreation opportunities, and to protect New Mexico's resources from corporate greed and private equity.
