Raul Turrieta knows that the families of District 39 are not being well served by the current House representative. He intends to fix that. As a military veteran with 45 years’ experience at the Grant County Assessor’s Office, Raul believes that in our corner of the state, we are all familia—and he’ll do anything he can to help la gente.
Raul’s leading priorities are:

Healthcare: District 39 residents need increased funding for Medicaid; reductions in health insurance premiums, drug costs, and medical debt; and more doctors, nurses, and dentists for our corner of the state.

Affordability: Families are struggling to make ends meet. Raul will help homeowners and renters alike, and take on big utilities to end price-gouging.

Protecting our people: From his time in public service and the Navy, Raul knows firsthand that seniors and veterans deserve our respect and support. They should be first in line for tax relief, housing, and services for mental health and wellbeing. Raul Turrietta has spent his life showing up for Southwest New Mexico. Now he’s ready to show up for us in Santa Fe.
