A Fundraiser for Blue CD2 New Mexico

Monday, September 28, 2026, 6–7 PM MDT

8–9 PM EDT, 7–8 PM CDT, 5–6 PM PDT

Join us for a conversation with New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez, a man who’s gone toe to toe with Meta, Project Jupiter, and the U.S. Justice Department.

After winning a landmark $900 million victory over Meta, Torrez continues to push for social media laws that will protect minors. He sued the Justice Department and Todd Blanche, saying they blocked the state’s Epstein probe. He has backed environmental groups in their battle with data center Project Jupiter. And he’s teamed up with other state attorneys general to protect civil rights and challenge executive overreach. In doing so, Torrez has renewed New Mexicans’ belief in the promise of justice for all.

Raúl Torrez knows if Democrats don’t win back the House, we can’t stop the Trump Administration’s attack on the rule of law. That’s why he's helping Blue CD2 New Mexico re-elect Democrat Rep. Gabe Vasquez to Congress and elect Democrats up and down the ballot in New Mexico's District 2, a district once solidly red but, today, looking bluer and bluer.

Join us for a conversation with a real hero who’s fighting the good fight – and winning.

Our Speaker

Raul Torrez.png

Raúl Torrez is New Mexico’s 32nd Attorney General. A former federal prosecutor and senior advisor in the U.S. Department of Justice, he has dedicated his career to public service and strengthening the rule of law.

As Attorney General, Torrez has brought a clear and focused approach to some of New Mexico’s most difficult challenges. He has made protecting children a top priority—filing lawsuits against major tech companies like Meta and Snap Inc. for enabling online abuse, investigating failures in the child welfare system, and launching undercover operations to arrest online predators.

Torrez is a strong advocate for transparency, accountability, and constitutional governance. He has led national efforts to protect civil rights, challenge executive overreach, and defend the rule of law. Attorney General Torrez has improved oversight of higher education, and safeguarding New Mexico’s natural resources from environmental harm and exploitation.

A graduate of Harvard University, London School of Economics, and Stanford Law School, Attorney General Torrez lives in Albuquerque with his family.
