The Secretary of State’s office is accepting online requests for absentee ballots ahead of the June 5, 2026 primary on the website NMVote.org, where qualified voters can opt in to the permanent list.

In a Presidential general election, you can vote for anyone on the ballot - and from any party. For example, if you are a registered Republican, you can vote for the Democratic nominee for President or Congress. You do not have to change your registered party to vote for a nominee in the other party.
